We help investigators focus on what they do best.

Fighting identity theft effectively demands a new level of vigilance by individuals and close cooperation between police, fraud investigators, government agencies, and private business. Identity Theft 911 will do everything possible to support the work of law enforcement and the fraud protection community by making that cooperation a practical reality.
Judd Rousseau
COO & Director of Fraud Operations, Identity Theft 911

Without a systematic approach to information gathering and documentation, vital data can be lost to law enforcement forever. I look forward to helping Identity Theft 911 provide the most effective possible crisis resolution service for victims of identity theft — and for all those who investigate these crimes and prosecute their perpetrators.
Deputy Chief James McMurray, L.A.P.D.
Member, Identity Theft 911 Advisory Board
The crush of identity theft complaints has made fraud caseloads explode — and put you in the role of helping victims deal with the financial and emotional fallout. Identity Theft 911 is committed to helping law enforcement and fraud investigators to deal with this onslaught.

We work closely with federal, state, and local authorities — both directly and through anti-fraud organizations. We understand the frustrations you face. By giving victims the help they need, we free you to focus on investigating these crimes and bringing criminals to justice.

Identity Theft 911 is in the process of creating a secure environment where bona fide law enforcement and fraud investigators can exchange ideas and information, stay up-to-date on new and proposed legislation concerning identity theft, and find other useful resources and tools for combating fraud. This site will be available only to the enforcement community — public access will not be permitted. Specific criteria for admission to this secure site will be published here, along with a description of the validation and authentication process. As this project unfolds, we welcome your input.
